The sound is great. Our son is 7 and the headphones make it great for everyone in the house lol. Otherwise a bit more pricey than other models but worth it in the quality. Great sound, easy to use, all of us (including 2 kids age 6 & 3) love it!

If you have a small space like a bedroom or office where you practice and record, this is a great size that allows for a lot of versatility. Ghost notes and rolls are super easy.
The 452k simulates an actual snare as much as possible. The hi-hat is adjustable and has open, closed, and half-open positions.
Cons

It was set it took 10min after unboxing.

Really good for beginners and an excellent price for the quality.
I couldn't believe how much these things cost when i was looking for one.
I took a multi-lesson course for $14.
It looks like for another $130 i can get that add-on.
