Quality
Love my yamaha kit with its wonderful quality.
The setup is simple - connect your hdmi arc port of tv to hdmi wrc port of the soundbar and that is it.
Anyway, kept it anyway since the sound quality is excellent.
Sound quality is good for a bar/small sub.
Price
Excellent soundbar but annoyed by the price.
Somehow the price dropped by almost $200 after it was delivered.
Competitiveness
Definitely better then the tv speakers but probably not as good as more expensive soundbars.
Yamaha have perfected what a soundbar should sound like!
Yamaha yas209 is a mid range soundbar with excellent sound quality.

Odd thing is it sometimes has to be turned back on after we switch to an app like netflix and back to regular tv
