Quality
This is my first guitar, from what i can tell it has a very quality feel and look.
Brilliant sounding guitar with single coil and humbucker switch.
5 way switch so lot so alot of sound variety.
The only neg is the tremolo which works fine but can get in the way of the volume and treble adjustment knobs if you're not too careful.
Price
If you wanr a good "strat" but don't want to spend twice the amount (and no concern about what's on the headstock) this is a great choice.
Competitiveness
I have a standard fender (mim) strat and it is in the same league.

The humbucker bridge is especially sweet and has a split coil feature

Even then id bet this would hold its own with a pick up mod
