Pros

The yamaha pacifica is superior to the entry-level squire models. It's nice to have the humbucker in the bridge position instead of the standard stratocaster-style three single coil. Even at setting 4 where the middle pickup and the hb both are active... Read More

Even the intonation is good as it comes. No sharp fret ends or glaring issues though, just some small ones.

The metallic blue is as beautiful to look at as it is to play. Beautiful and great sounding guitar. One thing i would recommend, though, is a string change and a setup.

The pac-012 tone is a little hallow. This guitar is solidly built and much easier on the fingertips than my yamaha or takamine acoustic guitars. It's great for my use as a beginner.

This one is stunningly good quality. The fit and finish appear to be flawless. Very good quality, good looking and great for beginners.

Cons

Two broken strings (b and e) probably due to * inside a single box3. No sound coming through the amp. I have no way of knowing if it's the guitar, the */cheap chord, or the amp.

I am simply amazed at the quality on this instrument.

I am very impressed with the quality along with the fit and finish of this guitar.

The d string broke after a few weeks of regular use.

It has never warped, the ok pups have never failed.

Overall an outstanding value for the money.
