Rmh5a are studio reference quality, which i need for mixing my own music.

Excellent sound, not too heavy to wear.

The ear pad covers breakdown and wear-off with time and the headband broke after a number years on one pair.

They sound awful out of the box because they must be burned in for at least 40 hours before they “loosen up”.

Price

A really great pair of phones for the money.

I would definitely recommend these to anyone on a budget who wants a decent pair of headphones!

I was looking for the best headphones i could get for under $70 that were non bluetooth and would be lightweight and comfortable.

They are worth five times the price.

I started looking at yamaha due to their decent reputation and these rh5ma definitely deliver in that regard.

But they are lacking in the bass (the low end), when compared to the originals (that were sold in the us).

Still, you would have to pay 5 times the price to find a headphone as good as these yamahas.
