Pros & Cons
Pros
Lyre is a nice quality heavyweight metal. Holds my music tightly and stays snug on my instrument. Best value for the money so far. Granddaughter is happy.
Cons
This lyre has such a small opening, that it only fit over the mouthpiece, making it so close to the eyes that you can't use it. The ring gets loose and you can not tighten it. In the fully tightened position it is too big for both of my clarinets.
Highlights
Quality
Good quality daughter has had good use of this during marching season
It is sturdy, attractive and does the job.
(first was different brand) last one broke after one use and definitely was flimsy!
Got this for our son for marching band as the one we bought last year broke (unsure of brand or conditions that lead to breaking).
Price
Best value for the money so far.
Packaging/appearance
I ordered it with the folder shown in the “people also ordered” box.
