If youre going to get a plastic recorder dont settle for less than yamaha aulos or zenon

Theres also the slightly more expensive ecodear plastic version which is denser and warmer sounding

If youre starting out on recorder skip the straight airway ones and get the curved ones that give you a richer sound and will help teach your embouchure for if you stick with the instrument and want to get a better one later
