The angles of the fingerholes and blade are virtually 90° making use in a tall jar easier. I don't know if it affects functionality for others, but i do like the smaller size of the shelf that catches the it's easier to see down in the jar.

Good spacing on the cutting blades to where it almost automatically cuts at about 1/4".
They cut the wick every time, no folding of wick instead of cutting.
They burn much more evenly and the wick doesn’t smoke if you clip them before lighting.
Price
I've purchased both of these on amazon and they are worth every penny.
I wish these cost less, but they're the only ones i've found that work for all my candles.
If you burn any jar candles, will not be sorry you splurged on this, even at $20.
It cost a little more money, but it is worth it because it works.

I lay it next to the candle i'm currently burning because it is nice enough to leave out of the junk drawer.

This yankee wick trimmer is at a better angle almost 90 degrees then the two i tried

The only thing i would change is the length of the cut wick as it is smaller than usual but so far it has not made a significant difference

Ive had another brand that was given to me but it was horrible at mashing the wick didnt reach down into the jar candles after they were down to the last several inches and were a boring stainless steel gray
