I scanned the qr on the light bulb while it was plugged in with the apple home app and it was added immediately with another bulb the light shade was so that i wasn’t able to scan it while the light was plugged in so i scanned it and plugged it in after which worked

For some reason adding the lights in the yeelight app is very hit and miss after multiple resets and when they are added it often says they are unreachable despite working fine in home kit

Overall a great purchase for my entry into smart home only reason 4 stars is because of the yeelight app

Its easy to setup no hub needed and works with the yeelight app

Just set the lights up first in the yeelight app and then connect to your smart home setup
