Pros & Cons
Pros
Very happy with this box. My fiancé and i both use it and highly recommend. This box is awesome.
It is very easy to assemble if you use some *. It is on the heavier side and required some assembly.
Once assembled, the parts for together seamlessly. Fits together perfectly. The dimensions are accurate as described. All the pieces fit together well. Like a puzzle.
The screws provided are fine. If you have a torque setting on your drill it makes it easier if you set it. Would take a bit longer if using puny screwdriver included.
Cons
Allen wrench supplied is a complete joke and insufficient. There's no premade holes, so it's just a pain to work with. No pre drilled holes.
The box is strong enough, but if you dont land perfectly dead center, you could flip the box and injure yourself. All we can surmise is that the wood has degraded in some way. Also, the 12x14x16 is way smaller than you might imagine.
Highlights
Quality
The assembly is easy, use a drill goes much faster with all the screws and holes, and the product is very sturdy!
Well built, easy to assemble, seems solid.
I rounded off the sharp corners and rough edges by filing and sanding.
Tip the center support screws onto both sides with the handle.
Price
It was worth it since i now have a squat bench and 3 height options for step ups at nearly half the cost.
Everything marketed towards photographers is so expensive and couldn’t get myself to purchase.
Nice addition to personal gym, but a little pricey.
Packaging/appearance
2) all 6 sides came in individual plastic bags, inside the box.
Surprisingly, the box was fairly easy to assemble.
Box was very easy to put together.
Competitiveness
I would definitely recommend this to other photographers as well as those who are looking to purchase a study box for workouts.
These boxes are a great deal compared to others i looked at.
And then, i priced out the plywood at my local lowe’s and realized that i couldn’t even compete with this haha.
I used a phillips head screwdriver to assemble this block.
