Pros & Cons
Pros
Plates stay on the bar securely. Solid build quality and durability of both the plates and the dumbbells are hard to overlook. Only note is that the collar isn't snug with the full 52.
One of the standout features is the steel/metal grip on the handles. One downfall is the grips are very skinny.
Product is just as described. As someone who dedicates themselves to critiquing and reviewing products professionally, your support is invaluable.
These weights will be put to use by your grandkid's grandkids. This not only adds a level of ease to your workouts but also showcases the dedication to quality in the design. I am a beginner with weight training and they are perfect for me.
They're well-made and sturdier than i expected. One in a million in terms of both durability and craftsmanship. The cast iron construction is robust, providing a solid and reliable feel with every lift.
Cons
Ordered 60 lb which is shown as 8 weights and 2 handles in the picture. There is a manufacturing defect with one of the dumbbell bars. The extension bar is cumbersome to install and too short.
Highlights
Quality
The solid steel core ensures a consistent weight distribution, making your exercises smoother and more effective.
Really high quality material, easy to adjust.
My shoulders aren't very wide and they are rubbing against the plates, making it very uncomfortable to use for squats.
Just watch out for the paint/finish as i noticed a lot of flakes were coming off these dumbbells for the first 2 weeks or so of use.
Price
Best bang for your buck in terms of weights.
Product is great value for money as expected.
I would like a new bar bell part which is ehat i paid for.
I find all weight equipment is overpriced
Shipping
Item was misplaced by the delivery company.
Raised concern with the seller and a replacement was delivered within few days.
Packaging/appearance
I love that they come in a compact box; so much better than the old plastic encased concrete weights she's been using.
Package includes four 8 pounds and four 5 pounds plates and two 4 pounds rods and screws for exactly 60 pounds total.
Thus, opting to gift them without the packaging could be a thoughtful choice.
A small suggestion for those considering gifting these dumbbells: due to their weight, the packaging might not hold up well.
