The rubber inserts seem to do a good job of keeping the nuts tight. The spin locks fit nice and snug and don't work loose as easily as my other ones but still spin freely when you remove or tighten them. They tighten down very well. Very happy with qu... Read More
My only knock is that the knurled handle is a little bit small. The knurl is nice and grippy and doesn't cut my hands. Knurling is sharp, and it hurts my hands a little.
Cons
They are not solid steel they are dipped in some kind of metallic plating which flakes off and gives you brutal splinters. They're also incredibly skinny so it's difficult to keep a good grip.
My chrome pair continually sheds chrome splinters. For the most part, it just accumulates on the floor as bright speckles.
It takes too long to adjust your weights when you unscrew and screw the collars. The collars are far too thick, which limits the number of plates you can fit on the bar, and also makes them harder to tighten. I have other star-shaped collars from anot... Read More
The bars are not 5 lb. One of them is 3 lbs. If you go heavy it hurts, trust me.

Work as expected, well made and comfortable to hold.
These handles are very sturdy and the finish seems to be solid.
My weights were held tightly by the rubber gaskets and the bars had zero, chips burrs, sharp edges etc, etc.
The weight just over 5lbs each and have rubber gaskets on both the inside of the bar and the star collars.
Price
For the price, these handles are awesome.
Very good value for your money, especially if you already have circular weight plates.
Well worth the price if you are too cheap to buy some expensive dumbbells like i am.
Good knurling half the price of buying one in store .

I received my dumbbell set right on time.
Came quickly and the quality was a little better than i was expecting for the price.
Packaging/appearance
The bars arrived in a packages within two packaging, i.
Each bar and collar was individually wrapped with a form of bubble wrap.
Items were packaged nicely, but every piece had at least a few chips of paint missing.
Bars and collars came well packaged and the collars even had a light coat of oil to prevent rusting!

The new bar did not fit into the new plates evidentally you make two different size dumbbell bars
