We have papillons and they will never need another food bowl. My dog is 14 yrs old and on a special diet to make her thirsty to urinate more. The ice melts quickly- but the water stays cooler than on a regular bowl.

One of the bowls has an irritating rattle on the inside. It's a little ridiculous to sell a $40 dog bowl and have such lousy quality control. Paid more for good food like blue buffalo rather than $40 stainless steel.
