Pros

Yeti is a great brand and make high quality, rugged products. I'm always skeptical about the price of yeti coolers, but the value is there with this brand. Very durable, owns up to its reputation.

The method of packing raw fish in ice is common in the raw fish industry. This product allows me to pack meals along with snacks and drinks for the 12+ hour work day. Have a tundra cooler, tumbler, and mug.

A little heavy, zipper is stiff, but the do provide a glide stick that works. It works smoother and the common problem of the zipper teeth getting twisted at the corners has been addressed.

Cons

Even after applying the included zipper lube, it probably take 25 lbs of pulling force to move the zipper. There was no significant difference to my igloo or coleman, other than costing 10 times more.

Overrated and poor quality. Not impressed for the amount of money spent. It is so bad i don't even like the person who gifted it to me anymore.

Quality

Well constructed which was expected, my wife loved the color so it was a gift and she is very happy with the weight and size.

Yeti's famous quality comes through in a rugged, effective day cooler.

I had a zipper fail on one of the earlier hopper models which was replaced with a newer model with the improved zipper.

Only problem with the cooler is that the zipper is very hard to open even with the provided lubricant placed on it.

Packaging/appearance

This cooler kept everything just as cold as if it was in the frig!

The ice packs were still frozen and the contents remained cold.

Competitiveness

A bit pricy when compared to many similar products on the market today but i have no regrets.

I’ve had some rtic coolers and the small zipper teeth seems to jam up unless you lube it all the time.
