Pros & Cons
Pros
Panga is lightweight and converts to a backpack. Surprisingly comfortable to carry as a backpack duffle, even with 80lbs of equipment inside. Great for a wet and wild adventure but not so much for the airport. As a piece of gear, it inspires the kind ... Read More
When zipped tight, it is airtight enough that i can stand on it. Water and air tight. Zipper is great, heavy duty material, straps are awesome.
The bag is yeti so the quality is awesome. It's just like the reusable fabric bags for a smaller gift.
While i haven't put it through its paces yet, the construction is undeniable. It's expensive but its quality product that i hope will last a long time.
Cons
Almost all panga backpacks have a hole in the seam. The holes aren’t even in a spot that would contact the ground when i dragged it as you can see by the dirt marks. Zipper failure, so loss of water/air tight feature after only 1 day in field.
Highlights
Quality
I keep buying yeti bag because of the quality and the warranty.
I am amazed by the quality of this thing, the material and the zipper.
If you are frugal, stay away, if you do not mind paying for long lasting quality.
But their quality is unmatched when it comes to these bags.
Price
Price is a little high but it is a quality product
Packaging/appearance
Which is the same one used in the panga.
I could not believe my eyes as i lifted my camera out of the bag.
Competitiveness
Surprisingly comfortable to carry as a backpack duffle, even with 80lbs of equipment inside.
It is not the biggest pack on the market.
Had to make and emergency trip home in the middle of the afternoon due to an incoming storm, and hit 8ft wind swell in a 24ft bw.
