It's a screw top, which i preferred for ease of can insertion and removal. It hides all writing on the top of the can, which is what i was looking for. The only thing i would change is the black plastic lid that screws on after you insert the drink.

It is 2 pieces so you have to unscrew the top piece in order to change out drinks
