Pros & Cons
Pros
The yeti rambler keeps your hot beverage piping hot for long time and moderately warm for even longer. Although the plastic lid in't thermally insulated, it's sufficient to keep steam from escaping. Magnetic lid piece is really clever and easy to flic... Read More
The hole for drinking is comfortable and it is not easy to spill on oneself. Typical yeti high quality material with excellent construction.
The mug is a bright copper color and even suggests using it for moscow mules.
Cons
The mouthpiece either dispenses a dribble or you're wearing it. This is unacceptable, especially when you are already paying between $30 and $50 for a cup depending on the color. It ruins my opinion about yeti products and i have to wonder if it is tr... Read More
The magnet top is cool but leaks. It is nowhere near leak proof. Spills everywhere, no seal around the magnet lid. Rusted after 1 month.
Highlights
Quality
No, i have nothing to do with yeti and this is my unbiased opinion about the product.
*updatedafter properly reading the product description, yeti states the lid is not leak proof.
Shipping
Looked for him one on the yeti site first, they’re cheaper here because of $0 shipping!
Packaging/appearance
One obvious shortcoming of the yeti rambler is that it can't be placed in a microwave to reheat the contents.
Competitiveness
With a 14oz capacity, it holds more than a typical 8oz or 12oz mug, and it keeps it hot for hours.
A bit expensive, wish they were made in the usa.

The rubber seal around the actual lid is very tight almost vacuum sealed but the lid unfortunately lets hot air out and leaks coffee

Although billed as an outdoor mug its not sufficiently watertight to carry on a hike nor is it shaped to fit the cup holders in most vehicles

Unlike the heated mugs that have become popular the yeti rambler isnt tethered to a power supply nor does it use any extra energy other than the original heat of the coffee itself
