Pros

They are pricey, but worth every penny. The suction on it is amazing. I clean mine by hand and use a straw cleaner.

Cons

The idea is amazing but the design is flawed. I'm surprised yeti has its name on such a faulty product. Please just update the product info to be accurate.

Hydro flask from now only if a straw lid is needed. The lid sweats and ice melts fast. The camelback still has ice after 6 hours, the coleman has iceafter about 3.

Quality

The quality of the folding part seems really good and i haven’t had it leak a drop.

Like all our yeti products, we love this product.

Would have liked this option with the yeti instead of as an add-on.

Packaging/appearance

I also appreciate that the packaging has a guide so you know what length to cut your straw to fit your bottle.

There’s a length marker on the back of the packaging.

(the people saying it doesn’t fit don’t read and it says on the packaging to cut the straw to size 😂) leaks every now and then ...  Read More

Competitiveness

Compared to other competitive products, this lids design and awesome!

I replaced all my water bottles with these yeti products.

Says it fits all, which it does, but for my 18oz yeti i had to cut the straw because it was too long.

Perfect if you want a straw with your yeti

Posted by a reviewer on Amazon

Ive tried a number of sipper lids and the main flaw in them is that the straw is the female end

Posted by a reviewer on Amazon

Over time with the straw expanding and contracting the coupling becomes loose and air starts to enter the straw at the contact point resulting in the suction being compromised

Posted by a reviewer on Amazon

On this lid the straw this the male end and any expanding and contracting doesnt compromise the coupling of the straw to the lid

Posted by a reviewer on Amazon

There are however a couple of extreme situations where i swap to the original or hot shot lid1 plane flights the altitude and changes in pressure even in the cabin are a lot for this lid to handle and can cause some water to leak out around the straw opening
