Pros

Excellent cooler,but pricey. T-rex latches are sturdy and durable unlike the cheap plastic latches that are constantly breaking on other coolers. Holds ice well and it is very durable.

The visual euphoria is breath taking, as well as the three brightness levels than burn brighter than a thousand suns. Little perks go a long way for advertising your products. For $500.

The rope handles make it very easy for two people to carry from one place to another. The baskets are life savers for goods that must stay dry. The bulky size and tough durability make this a must have for any large camping trip.

Block ice on the bottom helps, or as we did, freeze up four 1 gallon water bottles. There are two drain plugs on the side that allow for easy water drainage.

Holds ice well and it is very durable.

Best ice chest i have ever owned.

During a week of 105 deg plus heat with normal use it held ice for 9 days.

We had sodas cooled in this for 3 straight days and it still had ice in it.

Price

Let's face it if you're going to fork over $500 for a cooler you want to make sure it's exceptional, i don't care how much money you have.

To pay that kind of money for a cooler and having to have a factory defect in the corner of it is very disappointing.

Shop around before choosing yeti,you will save$$$$!

Still 1/3 of cooler is full of icei cried all the way to the bank because of the cost but today i'm a very happy hunter.

I took the yeti on a rafting trip for 7 days when i got home 2 days later there was still 2 small blocks of ice left.
