Pros & Cons
Pros
They fit on the bottom perfectly and freeze at 28 degrees. The fruit stand sits out in the direct sun and gets hot. They all stay secure and cold for several days even in direct sunshine out on the lake.
Bought this high end expensive cooler. Totally amazed by performance. Price is only downside but very happy with investment! Works great. I hope this helps.
System works best if you combine both yeti ice or some comparable like arctic with real ice. The cooler & ice packs keeps the cider cool through out the day with out any ice. Followed advice to put 1 bag of ice in cooler the day before use to prep... Read More
Tundra 35 takes a 4lb yeti and a 1lb ice on the bottom per their website. A little misleading that the 35 is not quarts like most coolers, this is under that. My picture shows 10 coors light with one stacked for a height check.
Cons
With only a $9 difference, compared to size difference, going with the rtic is a no brainer. This year, it's full of old junk in my loft. Ridiculously over priced junk.
Highlights
Quality
Very solid top and the hinge feels like it will last.
Keeps items cold for days at a time
This is deceptively small inside and heavy af.
Very heavy,,,,,,keeps ice frozen for a couple days.
Price
Definitely worth the money and an easy workaround for kids who can’t keep a refrigerator in their dorm rooms.
My old igloo caused me to have to buy a bag of ice a day and when in tourist areas that can be as much as $6 a day.
This product is expensive and its hard to get over the price for a cooler.
Shipping
Arrived in a timely manner, and was exactly what was ordered.
It arrived within a few days of purchasing.
Packaging/appearance
I stored 2 large ice packs, 3 qt containers, 4 pint containers, and multiple 1/2 cup containers and ziploc bags.
Packaging was in good shape as well!
Competitiveness
The yeti 35 in my option is pretty small and i should have gone with the yeti 45.
