They are not shiny like the picture and u can see them around your thigh while wearing leggings and jean shorts bermuda type shorts i havent tried them under a dress yet so im unsure if u can see it under dresses but i still think you should order them and give them a try u never know might be able to think of a simple fix for being able to see it thru leggings like cutting them a little maybe

I was set on shorts specifically because i need them to guard against chafing plus i have very wide hips thighs and a bubble butt so regular chonies were a no go
