It has pretty impressive range but be careful if youre not that experienced to not let it get too far away from you because it may be difficult to get it to return

It does have a headless mode which makes it easier to make it return when you cant see which direction it is heading

It got so far away that i wasnt able to see it a couple of times

Of course you would get more battery life if you sometimes unplug the camera that comes with it a micro sd card is included
