This will work well and is a great size to stash in a laptop case for an on-the-go user.
On top of that, its very handsome on my desk and wipes clean easily.
It is ever so slightly louder than my previous pad, and absolutely not loud enough to be annoying at all.
As for those saying metal pads such as this are noisy, i dont agree whatsoever.

The bottom is has rubbering all over it rather than tiny squares or circle stickers of it so theres plenty of grab should you decide to use this on a more slipperyflatinclined surface of sorts

I dont even notice it and nobody else in my house has made a single negative comment
