You either have to pull each finger down holding both layers until you get your hand out or you can just pull your hand out and inner layer gets pulled out of whack and you can use something like a dowel rod to get inner layer back in place in the individual fingers

Just beware that those are cloth underneath so you cannot get them wet then theyd lose the heat protection altogether
