These new keys are better quality and have better see through lighting then the original (to my eyes).
The original keys became shiny and difficult to read with the lights on after less than a year.

For budget caps, these are seriously worth it.
Also, there was a couple keycaps that were nicked so i had to deduct a star but i’m not mad at these keycaps for the cost.
Not just for the money but really at any price.
But for the money, and the fact they're shine through caps.
Shipping
The other people who had cracked keycaps arrive probably had them get destroyed in shipping.
Packaging/appearance
Took away 1 star though because their packing material sucks.
In a box, this would be 5/5 but its not so i am giving it 4/5.

With this knowledge, i can't help but see the packaging as subpar.
Competitiveness
It seems like ymdk has the greatest amount of keycap sets to choose from on amazon, which is great.
These keycaps are way better than my original ones on my mountain everest max.
It does more noise than some other pbt keycaps.
I've got these sitting next to a set of drop skylights, and the ymdk are just better.

For the most part a decent set of keycaps though there is one issue which has stood out in the past few weeks once i noticed it

The darker keycaps have a different shinethrough injection material

As you can see the lighter keycaps have white shinethrough material and the darker keycaps have almost tanlight brown shinethrough material

This causes the darker keycaps to have a slight shift in color and makes the lighting on the keyboard to be a bit uneven

Yellow leds shift towards orange blue shifts towards purple redsgreens shift darker etc

If the shinethrough issues arent a big deal to you this is a fine set of keycaps
