Pros & Cons
Pros
Loud-ish pump (louder than my fans at low). Does it efficiently and fits 5/16 id tubing. At its lowest setting, is quiet and pumps very adequately.
Cons
One major flaw is that it died after only 10 days of being in my pc. The reservoir is so small and the pump is not well sealed so you have to refill the cooling liquid daily. Also your lucky if the reservoir (where the clear plastic meets the black pl... Read More

Other reviewers have mentioned a strange noise coming from the pump this is probably caused by air stuck inside i found that the air bubbles dissipate after a while but if the tank is not full the suction of the pump will cause a vortex and pull air in so keep this in mind

Small bubbles in the coolant can also cause noise from the pump i have heard that a small amount of dish soap added to the coolant can help with this but i cannot confirm

Due to its plastic construction you do need to be careful not to break the plastic barbs that the hoses connect to in my case i opted to just cut the hoses off with a scalpel rather than pull on them as if you do use the recommended 8 mm inner diameter hose size they are a very tight fit

If desired you may be able to get away with powering it at a higher voltage for a higher flow rate with either an external power supply boost converter or by connecting it between your 12v and 5v rails but this will reduce the life span of the pump and generate more noise

If you have an issue with it pumping too slowly you probably have it connected to a fan header on your motherboard which is throttling the speed of the pump

Some motherboards have an option in the bios setup menu to disable throttling and run it at maximum speed failing that you will have to hard wire it to 12 v
