I originally intended to get a new bed and use the futon as a couch or possibly as a guest bed in the future but after experiencing the futon i really am not in any rush to replace it for my own sleeping purposes

Building it was pretty simple just screw the legs into the preexisting holes on the bottom

To adjust the angle of the futon you just fold it forward and then let it down sort of like the same mechanism for lowering blinds on a window

The size when fully laid out is close to a twin sized mattress so as someone who is 511 i have to lay down on it just right to not have my feet hanging off of the end but it doesnt really bother me for my ankles to rest on the end of the futon

I am not very handy but i was able to do it by myself and i found it very easy to assemble
