The only problem is that some of the plastic bars didnt have velcro but for the price i didnt feel like returning it possibly a factory error i just used glue to keep it in place

I would not say that store plastic bags would work either as this is larger than those are in diameter

You could drop a paper store bag in if you are trying to reuserecycle or an actual trash bag
