Pros

Works like a champ and has also muffled the sound of the filter. This helps block large food particles. Intake sponge doesn't get clogged up.

Cons

This pre filter sponge, only worked for two days before i had to clean it. It now has to be rinsed every day.

It's a good value for the quantity you get.

Good quality the inside is like 1/2 diameter, and 2 3/4 length it should state this (dimensions)instead of fluval blah blah.

Works like a champ, hard to clean, but cheap enough to buy more

I bought a 10gal aquarium kit from petsmart , the filter was a bit too powerful for my betta to handle with his long fins.

They barely fit on our fluval filter tube and some of our baby guppies got sucked into the filter.
