It reminds me of cheap crayons that don't color like crayola brand. They are unable to be erased as well, which is a problem when using them to write.

I set them out for all my kids to try and the girls grabbed for the pink and purple while the boys didnt really care that those colors were there

These are attractive and their shape does keep them from rolling away which might be handy for anyone who has some dexterity issues not just little kids but theyre also hard enough that they dont write as smoothly and as comfortably as other colored pencils that ive used

I definitely dont think theyre a good fit for someone whos serious about art or looking to pick up coloring as a relaxing activity the bit more youd have to spend for a more premium and adultoriented colored pencil will probably be well worth it

Some people simply prefer mechanical pencils over dealing with pencil sharpeners

Only issue is that theyre not very erasable which i was hoping for then to be like some other normal colored pencils
