Pros & Cons

Pros

Started using these on my commute drive 2-3 times a day instead of at my desk. Bought backups because i know that someday my pair will fail. Check shipping charges carefully, though; they are high.

Using for rehab after a fractured finger. I have tennis elbow in both arms from schlepping bags and suitcases. The zenith gripper is certainly the most comfortable gripper close i have experienced, perhaps akin to a bucket seat that just feels right.

The grip is a little slippery at first, comparable to a wood gripper, but the poundage is definitely worth it. It seems that we can go a little further with these type of grips than the rougher knurling.

The #4 is a massive step up from the zenith #3. Looking forward to progressing upward the levels over time. I have the #1 and #2 in these grippers and use them regularly.

Smooth is nice, much better than the rough beveled grips. Action on this gripper is smooth, and a little wd-40 resolved any squeaky issues.

Cons

The spring is too easy to compress and the handles are too smooth on this model. It slips a lot.

Quality

However i am very pleased with the quality, the build and good looks!

Durable, high quality springs and precision machining of handles.

For me, it does not work that crush strength that is needed to close that last gap that so many of us have trouble on with the coc.

At that time, even firm handshakes were hurting me so i definitely did not want to work with the more challenging zenith models.

Price

The price was a little high but you pay for what you get.

Shipping

Great product, great service, fast shipping, thank you!

Check shipping charges carefully, though; they are high.

Packaging/appearance

I closed this 3 gripper first time out of the package.

Competitiveness

It seems that we can go a little further with these type of grips than the rougher knurling.

Much stronger than cheaper versions for the weak.

The zenith trainer does not equal coc trainer!

They did make a squeeking noise in the beginning but two drops of oil fixed that.

I bought the zenith agility model the weakest model because i wanted a gripper that i could use to rehab after a golf wrist injury

At that time even firm handshakes were hurting me so i definitely did not want to work with the more challenging zenith models

I thought id try the agility hoping that it would be easy on the wrist but with just enough tension to provide some benefit

Posted by a reviewer on Amazon

With 6 levels you would have to expect the first level to be pretty weak

Posted by a reviewer on Amazon

If you are the no pain no gain type you might want to move on to other zenith levels

Posted by a reviewer on Amazon

This particular gripper is for a select audience not for everybody

Posted by a reviewer on Amazon

I started out a little cocky and within a month was overtraining with these things

Posted by a reviewer on Amazon

You actually have to limit your training to protect yourself from injury
