It's easy enough to clean and reassemble. I plan on handwashing it and making sure no one other than myself go near it. The hard-shell zipper travel case is great.

Simple one touch activation and voila a steaming cup of flavorful tea. It is so simple to brew with it does not require instructions. The top bowl is very easy to empty of leaves after brewing.

The kicker is that it comes with a carrying case. Comes in a nice protective travel pouch. Works well to brew a small cup of tea.

It has a pretty luxe case as well. The carrying case is tough and was designed with comfort and practicality in mind. It even comes with a very nice molded case.

Cons

As an inveterate tea drinker, this is the least useable equipment i have ever used. There is no way to secure the steeping chamber to the receptacle upon which it perches. Nowhere is this mentioned in the amz description nor in the set instructions.

I've paid more for a travel espresso pump without the travel case.

Firstly, the price point is quite high, which might make you think twice.

It's currently $36 as i write this review, and for an attractive travel-friendly device, i find that a reasonable price.

The tea maker came in pretty fast and was nicely packed.

Packaging/appearance

The packaging is impressive, almost drop-proof, which gave me a lot of confidence right from the start.

Thankfully, it was completely intact as it was packed very well and comes in a nice, secure case.

It lets you know on several warning stickers that this is not a thermos to pack tea while traveling.

It really is pretty, though, and nicely packaged in a box fit for giving, so would make a lovely gift.
