Minnelli is 3 yrs old. I have a 15lb maine * that loves it.

The material is garbage. It's not sturdy. Not easy to assemble.
Deceptive pictures falsely advertise product size. The whole tree is micro-sized to what i would expect a cat tree to be.

I was not expecting this to be as sturdy and nicely made, since it was such a reasonable price.

I may remove the steps too, they don't bear weight.

I was able to put it together in an hour but it only comes with a picture and you kind of have to guess at some points

Ive had this cat tree for about a year and a half now and if your cat isnt as wild as mine is itll probably be fine but my cat is a climber and a jumper and over time the top box has gotten a little shaky
