Pros

This is my 1st drywall sander so i don’t have anything to compare it to. That makes it a little dusty but still useable. Used to sand drywall in garage walls and ceiling.

Cons

Heavy, not ergonomically friendly, and the vacuum hose only hooks to a shop vac. Looks like the engineers that designed this thought that a locking collet was unnecessary.

I hate sanding drywall but this solution made it a clean and quick process.

Eventually tapped it to the vacuum hose and turned them on simultaneously.

However, it works very well and with a good wet/dry vac and a dust separator, my working areas are dust free.

Price

I have rented sanders each job for $100/day.

I was skeptical because of the price.
