Pros

These mats are much thicker and sturdier. My weight bench is very heavy and there are no indentions in the surface of the mats. They’re also the perfect thickness to absorb the shock of dropped plates or dumbbells.

They are very durable and easy to install. They give a polished, finished look.

Since i boondock in cooler climes, insulating the floor helps greatly. Also a great insulator from the cold tile flooring underneath.

They lock well together, ect. They can be disassembled and reconfigured easily. Pieces go together easily and crisply.

Cons

Some of the tiles are black and have grippy texture, while others look gray and are much smoother. The tile thickness is also really inconsistent, resulting in some tiles sitting a full quarter inch below others and creating a trip hazard. Terrible qu... Read More

Having said that, they are good mats, we use them in our home gym and they are holding up well

Super easy to put together, i really liked the border pieces.

Mats do not slide, 3/4 inch are thick and extremely durable.

I have a sensitive nose and while there was a slight smell initially, this dissipated in 1-2 days.

Really good soft mat for the money.

Rubber floor would have cost 4x as much.

Just ordered and installed 5 boxes (480 sf) of 3/4" thick for weight room/gym area in finished basement.

Competitiveness

At face value, these are similar priced to other items of size and quality.
