    After reading the directions i didn’t feeling comfortable putting it directly on the wound

    Instead i put regular wound ointment on the wound and covered it with an absorbent dressing and then applied the zinc cream to the area around the wound making sure to coat the part of the dressing not in contact with the wound

    The drainage from the wound which has become very minimal is the only moisture that is on the dressing

    So except for the occasional tiny spotting from drainage all the area of the dressing that comes in contact with the wound is pretty much dry
