Cons

The quality is fair at best- very thin gauge metal. It’s also not very sturdy. Lack of support causes the creaking. The wooden slats are so flimsy that you can feel them bend as you lie down.

It’s packaged very well for shipment and we are very happy with the purchase.

Nothing wrong with the 1st one, just upgraded from a full to a king mattress.

I ended up going with the used option which was about 50$ or so cheaper, maybe a little more and it came a day and half later.

Recent reviews were a mixed bag, falling slats, bad welding, others were positive …i added insurance with the prime day discount.

Price

It has moved 3 houses with me since then (and gone up $50 in price lol) and it just broke a week ago when the welding gave out.

I needed a bed frame last minute but the cost of a brand new one was a bit more than i was looking to spend.

Shipping

And, the shipping was so fast for us.

Packaging/appearance

Was on the fence about buying it, but now so glad i did.

Competitiveness

My 2nd suggestion - zinus please design this frame so that head and footboard brackets can be attached (like your smartbase bed).
