The wood is very solid and didnt come with any major marks and after a few weeks the metal bar is holding up fine too not sure how others had any problems with it

If you are the type that is confused by super simple instructions like ikea i really dont think that its the instructions that are causing your difficulties and you should probably just spend the money on preassembled furniture
