Pros

The surface is durable and seems to hold up nicely. The finisher is that i've had my first zinus desk for two years now - and it's survived near constant use, bracketing heavy monitors and mic booms to it. The design for assembling is the best of all.... Read More

Structurally, it's very well designed and weighty. The legs are strong and sturdy, no wobbling even after a year. I'm not a huge fan of the joints on the legs that hold the support up, but it is manageable.

The dimensions defintely fit the space we needed it for. It has a lot of room so i'm able to store lots of things and customize it to my liking. It's multipurpose and can work with any decor and in any space.

Cons

When you spend this kind of money on a desk you expect that the desk is cosmetically sound. Overall very dissatisfied with this purchase. It’s a scam.

poor welding on the inside square tubes. Not the best desk for a permanent setup because it's not manufactured to the best quality (has an ikea feel to it) not as sturdy as i hoped it would be.

Packaging/appearance

First and foremost the packaging from zinus is amazing.

My other one (55inch espresso desk) still had styrofoam packaging, but the foam was all plastic bagged to keep it from crumbling.

The packaging is minimal and this (47inch) version came with almost all paper packaging.

Competitiveness

This has been true for almost all zinus products i've used.

It can hold a 21 inch acer monitor, a huion 21 inch drawing screen tablet, and my mid tower without a problem.

Like most zinus products, the big win is the very-well thought out assembly, flat-pack, and directions.

Go nuts if you have an ultrawide, 55 inches is plenty to work with.
