I bought it to use as a sewing table at the end of my larger cutting table and only had so much space widthwise to work with i needed something shorter than a standard 47 desk but stable not foldaway and this fit the bill
Great quality legs are metal so they are sturdy and you can detach and take them off and store it under the bed if you are not using the table
