Pros

They send an actual ratchet to assemble the furniture and not a dinky allen wrench. Slats attach with velcro in a roll so no need to worry about screws stripping out. Using a 14 inch memory foam mattress.

Sturdy as an ox. The bed is sturdy and does not have any creaks or flex.

Headboard is below the maximum weight provided in the specs. Headboard was scratched. Poorly packed and styrofoam everywhere after unpacking it.

Can't even rig the thing up, completely out my money and a bed frame. It's almost like a defective robot is running their email system.

I really love how sturdy the bed is and the great quality of the bed.

It is super sturdy, and there are extra legs for support under the center beam, which seems to be a weak point in other beds.

Slats attach with velcro in a roll so no need to worry about screws stripping out and losing slats/support.

That leads to stripped hardware and cracked wood.

It is surprisingly sturdy for the price.

Little odd to sleep on kinda has a ridge down the center but for the price very good.

It was an easy set up as long as you follow the instructions, not bad for the price .

I had a couple friends help me and it went so much faster!

For $300, it was delivered to my front door in 3 days.

All pieces were included, packaged wonderful and directions were ok to understand.

Competitiveness

I took down one star because the included friction strips are not good compared to previous beds i bought from zinus.

Matches really well with ikea hemnes line if you're looking to mix.

I don’t know if i’ll be able to find storage containers less than 8” tall, and if i do, that’s another additional expense.
