Pros

The bed is very sturdy, although i am the only one sleeping in it and i weigh 140 lbs. Using a 14 inch memory foam mattress, i think it is sturdy enough to hold the weight that it says it holds.

Great bang for your buck. Styrofoam packing material is plastic wrapped! This is probably the best packaged item i have ever purchased.

Cons

Buyer beware. Disappointed to spend $200 on this. Trust me. It was frustrating.

The bed creaks and groans. Even with all the bolts tightened, the frame moves so much every time someone moves that my husband and i keep each other awake all night. The wood looks very nice but this bed is so squeaky!

Seller keeps replying to me with the same question. When i don't respond for 3 minutes, they disconnect. It's almost like a defective robot is running their email system. Turns out the pads increase the life of this bed by about 200%, because this one... Read More

I really love how sturdy the bed is and the great quality of the bed.

It is super sturdy, and there are extra legs for support under the center beam, which seems to be a weak point in other beds.

Slats attach with velcro in a roll so no need to worry about screws stripping out and losing slats/support.

That leads to stripped hardware and cracked wood.

Attractive and good value for the price!

It is surprisingly sturdy for the price.

Little odd to sleep on kinda has a ridge down the center but for the price very good.

It was an easy set up as long as you follow the instructions, not bad for the price .

I had a couple friends help me and it went so much faster!

Competitiveness

I took down one star because the included friction strips are not good compared to previous beds i bought from zinus.

Matches really well with ikea hemnes line if you're looking to mix.

I don’t know if i’ll be able to find storage containers less than 8” tall, and if i do, that’s another additional expense.
