These ziplocs are a nice alternative. The slider works like a charm--no double checking to make sure you have the zipper completely closed with your fingers. The ziploc slider closing is handy and the bag really stays closed.
Very durable bags. Will repurchase. Good price and good value make this a winner.
They are great for bulk items. The subscribe & save price is better than buying them separately. The delivered price for these bags cannot be beat.

After roughly four weeks in the freezer there was noticeably less ice buildup on the steak in the freezer bag and after cooking both steaks the one in the freezer bag finished to a slightly more pleasing color

Washing the meat juices out of the bag after thawing i filled the bag a third of the way with soapy water and closed it
