The pipe insert is great and has a top piece that can be removed to become a standard zippo.

First the standard zippo quality, its awesome and with the lifetime guarantee you cant beat it!

I let it burn for a few seconds before lighting the pipe to avoid the odors of the fuel.

That it didn't work, that it fell apart, that it empties quickly.

What a steal for the price and quality!

Reasonable price, easy refilling, and longevity make it the choice for many of us pipe-smokers.

Price was decent, particularly considering it will last a lifetime.

Many refillable butane pipe lighters cost a hundred bucks and don't last long, in my experience.

Shipping

It was delivered fast, and was exactly what i ordered.

Makes sense they can't ship something flammable but i was disappointed he had to make another purchase before it would work.

If it doesn't work, send it back and they will either rebuild it or exchange it at no charge to you outside of shipping.

Packaging/appearance

Well packaged and functions perfectly like my old one.

It also comes in a really nice gift box.

Competitiveness

I love this, and what's even better is the 'lifetime' nature of the lighter.

I tried the zippo brand butane yellow flame pipe insert but it didn’t work out of the box.

Knowing a few regular zippo lighter owners who prize their beloved zippo, i figured i'd give the pipe lighter a try.

I have bought several dedicated pipe lighters already, some more expensive than this, but none were perfect for different reasons.
