It puts out a soft yellow flame similar to a lit match it is nothing like the blue pinpoint flame of other lighters

When you first use it it will seem like something is wrong with the lighter but in fact this is a key feature as the flame has been optimized to easily light candles without blasting melted wax around in the process

This definitely makes it an indoorpatio candle lighter as it will blow out in a light wind so dont even think of using it for campingoutdoors

Safety is a royal pain but i bypassed it by sliding a slice of hard plastic cc inside case to hold button down
