Pros & Cons
Pros
If you need something that’s absolutely wind proof, you need a butane torch style lighter. Super durable for the outdoorsy types. Just needs to be refilled once in awhile.
Solid, durable, reliable, easy maintenance. Stunning quality and finish (brushed chrome) great warranty.
The armour series is a little thicker than most zippos. The clinging sound is so much better than the unarmoured versions. No doubt, zippo the best lighter in it's own class.
Cons
Lighter fluid leaks when full and evaporates after month of non use. Might as well stick to a cheap bic disposable lighter. Cheap bic lighter that houses its lighter fluid in a transparent plastic shell prevents a fast rate of evaporation.
Highlights
Quality
I know some ppl say the quality isnt what it once was, but i honestly dont feel that.
I would be slightly happier if all of the surfaces were brushed, but, overall, i am still very happy with the lighter.
Fill with the correct zippo lighter fluid.
In 1990 i purchased 2 with the same pattern.
