Cons
Remove the top of the non-lighter. Pour the cup of fuel into the cottony material. When i light it the fluid comes out the top and ignites the fluid, great i thought, dud. This hand warmer is incredibly hard to get lit.

Dont let the catalyst become so saturated that it sustains a visible flame upon trying to light it

If the catalyst does become wet remove the catalyst set it on a fireproof substance like a concrete slab light it and allow it to burn off the excess fluid before attempting to relight it once reinstalled

In my opinion filling the heater with so much fluid that you can see the level in the center hole its too full and will soak the catalyst
