Same size sparks similar operation heck its the same ferro rod with a 3d handle instead of the more 2d key shaped designs

I have made some fires in conditions that most people wouldnt even step outside their house in let alone try to make a fire in the middle of nowhere

Once i scraped off the protective coating on the rod the sharp end of the metal bar is scraped quickly down the bar and produces many sparks of burning metal

It wouldnt start a newspaper on fire unless shredded into small pieces

Doesnt work any better than a cotton ball with vasoline but it works
