Initial setup requires a monitored be connected to the dvrnvr but after it is set up i was able to use the hdmi to connect whatever i wanted to it

The lack of remotely controlling the dvrnvr is upsetting and is why i reduced the rating to 4 stars

It takes snapshots every time theres motion and timestamps them

So you can easily go through and look for times of interest and then go back and view the video instead of scrolling through a bunch of video

It has a button that to change playback speeds to 2x 4x 6x and 8x but it freezes up and doesnt work so i suggest you use the windows app for playback

The firmware on the nvr has been upgraded and no longer allows the zviewer pc program to work
