Pros

Highly recommended. This is second one i have purchased for my father. I am happy with it and price is quite reasonable, cheaper than the tiger brand.

First open/closed lock ceased to work but it still kept the coffee hot. The carafe is not broken and very clean inside, not sure where these flakes come from. I wash the carafe everyday, wait to see if shiny flakes will disappear completely.

The lid has an closed/open press the button to open to pour water out and depress to closed to keep the water inside hot. A push-open-release-close single action button is highly recommended for roduct modification. I find the lid very plastic but it ... Read More

Cons

It creaks and craks when you press the sides. Probably to protect the glass, but ita definate factor to consider. Whole product feels like it might fall apart if u press a little too firmly somewhere.
